Dave Banks, Jr. of San Antonio passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. He was born to Dave and Sally Banks in Santa Anna, Texas on February 26, 1921. Dave was a World War II veteran who served in the Pacific Theater in the Philippines. He traveled widely throughout Europe. He was a terrific cook and his family dinners and barbecues will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Victorine; his brothers, Harrell Banks and Albert Banks; his sisters, Jane Johnson, Lucille Creech, Mary Myers, and Sealy Miller. He is survived by his daughter, Diana Bentson and her husband, Roger; his grandson, David Kay and his wife, Kathy Kay; great-granddaughters, Lauren Kay and Sarah Kay; nephews, Charles Johnson and Harrell Banks, Jr.
