Candida (Connie) R. Garcia, passed away peacefully at home, joining her Heavenly Father and beloved husband, Julian on August 23, 2011 at the age of 97. She was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Maggie Garcia; grandson, Robert Lopez; sons-in-law, Julian M. Coronado and Ramiro Tamez. She is survived by children: Alta Coronado, Olga (Felix) Bazan, Yolanda Torres, Lillie (Danny) Fuentes, Abram (Sylvia) Garcia and Daniel (Irma) Garcia; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m.. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2011 at Templo El Golgotha, 509 Vine Street (78210). The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to Funeral Service.
