Christina Ybarra Benavidez, of San Antonio, Texas, was called to be with the Lord on Sunday June 27th, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 24th, 1930 to Victor and Paulita Ibarra. She was married to Casimiro Benavidez. Christina was a stay at home mom raising seven wonderful children. She had a passion for cooking traditional Hispanic food and a continued dedication to her faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband and seven siblings. She is survived by her sister Ignacia Ibarra Rivas and her seven children Elizabeth Haral and husband John, Belinda Lopez and husband Eligio, Dale Hernandez and husband Philip, Casimiro B. Benavidez Jr. and wife Lydia, Mario Benavidez and wife Connie, Miguel Benavidez and wife Sylvia, and Maria Christina Benavidez and fiancé Roy Yruegas. She is also survived by her many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on July 2, 2021 at 10:00 am at Meadowlawn Memorial Park, 5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220
