Charles Boyd Vaughn, age 90, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 in San Antonio,TX. He was born September 25, 1923 in Saugus, CA. He was also a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a Navy veteran who proudly served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by wife Levonne Vaughn.
He is survived by sons, Boyd Vaughn and Dayna Vaughn; sisters, Mary Midzor, Joyce Beardshear, and Paula Malloy; brother, Don Vaughn; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Visitation will begin at 4 PM, Friday, October 18, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Memorial Service to be at 7:00 at the Latter Day Saints (COJC), 8801 Midcrown Dr., San Antonio, TX 78239. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85027.
