Charles Michael Ross

He was a member of San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church. Michael attended St. John Berchman Catholic School from 1951-1955, Charles Graebner Elementary School from 1955-1958, James R. Lowell Junior High from 1958-1960, and Luther Burbank High School from 1960 until graduating in 1963. He enlisted in the U.S Army 321st Civil Affairs Group, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas in August 1965 and was honorably discharged on June 30, 1971. He was employed at City Public Service Energy from 1964 until retiring in 1998.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Charles V. Ross and Theresa Pantuso Ross. He is survived by first cousins, Donald J. Akers and wife, Carol; second cousins, Donald J. Akers, Jr., and wife Vicky, James L. Akers and wife, Randee and Diane C. Trevino and husband, Shawn; and third cousins, Mackenzie Akers, Ryan Jackson, Phillip Jackson, Sophia Akers, Lauren Trevino and Hailey Trevino.

A rosary service for Charles will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM with a service to follow at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. An entombment will occur afterwards at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
