Charles Bradford, also lovingly known as “Papa,” was born in San Antonio, TX on December 21st, 1941. He is survived by his wife, Mollie; his son, Shaun; his daughter, Peggy; his grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Charles and Mollie were married in 1968. Charles was a first sergeant in the Army and played an active role in the Civil Rights movement in 60’s. Charles was a well-known electrician and contractor in San Antonio. Charles is most well-known for the impact he made on his family and friend’s lives. Charles’ family will lovingly remember the times when he drank tea out of a Bill Miller’s cup, loved getting scratch offs, hid his candy in a secret stash, and board games with his family.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 24,2020 at 11:00AM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX, 78238. Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston at 1:00PM.
