Carolina P. Castaneda

Carolina P. Castaneda, (March 3, 1927-March 31, 2022) lived a beautiful life. She provided comfort and solace while asking little in return. Her Catholic Faith was a source of confidence, guidance, and strength. She and her husband, Alfonso (died 1999), had six children who loved and respected them, Al, Joe, Gene (died 2013), Mary Hilda, Hector, and Tony. Each of her children’s families have been a source of great joy and happy memories. Her family was always her life focus. She worried and took care of them sometimes to the exclusion of her own needs. She loved music, dancing, cooking, and gardening. She believed in dignity and person’s right to choose the life they want. She loved her entire family, worried about them, rooted for them, protected them, and kept on loving them no matter where their lives led them. She was a one of a kind and will be missed by those she left behind.

Her services will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on May 9, 2022
