He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Lopez and siblings, Enrique Lopez, Apolinar Lopez, Isaiahs Lopez, Luis Lopez, Benito Lopez and Beatrice Espinoza.

Carlos is survived by his children, Erasmo Lopez, Olga Cardoso and Lisa Sharp (Cory); sister; Evangelina Gutierrez; grandchildren, Caryna Magdalena Maclao, Andrea Estella Fernandez and Katalina Rebecca Lopez; great grandchildren, Aaliyah Morin-Gomez, Raquel Fernandez, Elias Morin, Ramon Fernandez, Amelia Sarai Acantar-Lopez, Roberto Fernandez, Analisse Maclao and Jose Carlos "Boo Boo" Lopez and great great grandson, Zechariah Gomez.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Chapel service will occur Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM, at Trevino Funeral Home with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX 16, Von Ormy, Texas 78073.
