Brian Scott Gray

Brian was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Phyllis Eckert and Jerrold Gray on April 11, 1975. He married Gloria Gray on January 10, 2022, in San Antonio, TX. After graduating from Clermont Northeastern High School, he went on to join the United States Air Force. He made his way to San Antonio in 2007, where he worked in the 433rd Reserve wing at Lackland AFB. He had many achievements in his 30 plus years in the Air Force. His proudest achievement was making Chief. He is leaving behind a legacy of dedication and commitment. In the time Brian was with us, he accomplished many things and left a lasting impression on those he met. Brian enjoyed his weekends fishing, kayaking, and the occasional hunt.

Brian Gray is preceded in death by father, Jerrold Gray and brother, Dennis Eckert Jr.

Brian Gray is survived by wife, Gloria Gray, son, Christian Gray, daughter, Ashley Gray, stepsons Liam and Eden Alvarado, sister, Tracy Gross, brother-in-law, Joshua Gross, mother, Phyllis Eckert and stepfather, Dennis Eckert.

Pallbearers will be MSgt Brett Read, MSgt Nathan Martin, MSgt Manuel Angel, CMSgt Byron Frost, and SMSgt George Johnson.

A visitation for Brian will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A prayer service will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:30 AM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238 with Pastor Lopez of Shepards Circle officiating. A committal service will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1:30 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
