Bonnie Clemens

Bonnie Bee Clemens, age 83 of San Antonio, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 15, 2016. She was born in New Hope, Arkansas, on April 22, 1933 but lived in San Antonio for more than 50 years and considered it her home. Bonnie is survived by her children Lana Holder (Benny), Sue Clemens, Ed Clemens (Rusti), and Tony Clemens (Donna); 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister Linda Duggan of Dierks, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Fannie Glasgow, and her beloved husband, Marvin.

Bonnie was a joy-filled person who loved the Lord, and always had a smile and kind word for others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, babysitting her grand-dog, and playing Bingo. Her grandchildren always knew that when Grandma Bonnie visited, she would have a stack of $1 bills and each child would receive some when they left. Her warm and loving nature will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Northwest, 6321 Bandera Road, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 12:00 noon. The interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m.
