Beverly Joan Palmer

Beverly Joan Palmer of San Antonio, Texas entered into eternal rest, on August 23, 2022. She has joined in passing her parents, Horace Ervin and Lillian Marie Schroeder Schweers and brother, Gary Schweers.

Beverly Palmer was born in Hondo, Texas on November 8, 1935 to parents Horace and Lillian Schweers. She graduated from Hondo High School before moving to San Antonio where she attended business school and met her loving husband of 63 years. On May 9, 1959, she married James T. Palmer Jr. and the two would begin to build a home in San Antonio, Texas. The two enjoyed traveling, where they would take many road trips together and flights around the United States. She particularly enjoyed the coast and getaway trips to Las Vegas. Beverly enjoyed oil painting, shopping, and lived for her family. A very sweet woman, she loved doting on her husband, kids and grandkids.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Jim Palmer; Son, Trey and wife, Christi Palmer; grandson, Mitchell and wife, Faith Palmer; daughter, Renee and husband, Will Cravey; granddaughter, Jordan and husband, Andrew Frantzen; great-grandkids: Jaxon, Kennedy, and Dylan Frantzen; among many other family and friends whose lives she brought joy to.

Services for Beverly Palmer will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy, beginning at 2PM with committal service to follow immediately after.
