Bertha Rivera Cardona was called home to be with the Lord, on April 23, 2013 at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Cardona;parents Manuel & Maria Rivera and brother Manuel Jimenez. Bertha is survived by her children Irene Martinez (Enrique), Irma Esquivel, John Cardona (Edna); grandchildren, Marci, Joanna, Joe Henry, Jennifer, Renee, Jorge, Lisa Marie, Kristy, John Michael and 23 great-grandchildren. A visitation will begin, Thursday, April 25, 2013, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Friday, April 26, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Paul Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 2
