Benito Chavez Saldana Jr.

Benito Chavez Saldana Jr., born on February 2, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, was called to be with the Lord on February 6, 2020, at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito Saldana Sr. and Concepcion Chavez Saldana; daughter, Dolores Saldana and siblings: Vicente Saldana, Gloria Saldana, Dora Saldana, Virginia Otrego, and Alicia Mora. Benito is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Maria Dolores Saldana; children: Benny Saldana III, Diana Saldana, and Gloria Saldana; grandchildren: Briana Saldana (Michelle), Leandra Lynn Ramirez, Benny A. Saldana, Daniel Ray Lopez, and Alejandro Saldana; siblings: Rosa Guerrero, Rebeca Gonzalez, Jesse Padilla, and Andrew Saldana (Sally); also, by his adoring pet, Max; followed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. Benito will be dearly missed by all his close family and friends. The visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78211, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with the Chapel Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude that evening. Inurnment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
