Beatriz Sanchez

Beatriz Sanchez went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the age of 75 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico to Susana Sanchez Garcia and Baldomero Soto. Beatriz enjoyed cooking, baking, watching classic movies like “Gone with the Wind”, listening to classical and latin music, working with plants and flowers, and doing crafts such as knitting and crochet. She also went to Cosmetology School and St. Phillips to become a medical assistant.

Beatriz is preceded in death by both of her parents; her brother Jesus Sanchez; and her daughter, Kristel Rios. She is survived by her common law husband, Jose Martin Moreno; her sons, Fabian Rios and Gabriel Garcia; her niece, Concepcion Sandoval; and her cousin, Baldemar Nava.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N Main Ave., San Antonio, Texas 78205. A second viewing will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. The following day, Friday, July 21, 2023, a funeral procession will depart Roy Akers Funeral Home at 12:15 PM for a funeral mass at 12:45 PM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 210 St Ann St, San Antonio, Texas 78201. Burial will follow at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78214.
