I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Audrey's passing. I have always had warm thoughts of both parents. Scott, I enjoyed reading about your adventures in the Christmas letter. I hope the memories of the time ya'll spent together will remain in your heart forever.

Scott.... You always took such good care of your mom. You were always so thoughtful and kind and I always appreciated your sense of humor about the good and bad that you and your mom went through. I also remember how you created so many great memories with your UIL kids. You always made UIL so much fun. I hope you mom knew how good you were with those kids. She was so lucky to have you in her life.

My deepest sympathy to you in this difficult time.  Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow up north for the loss of your mom. I know you have a lot of support with family/friends/colleagues there by your side, and hopefully you can take comfort in knowing that while I am far away in distance, I am thinking of you.  I hope the pain of the loss fades quickly and is replaced with the comfort from your memories and time you spent together.  Please accept my condolences and know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

It is always tough when our mothers leave us. Mothers always mean so much to our lives. You and your mother had a special bond that lasted such a long time and you have always been such a wonderful son by staying committed to your mother and caring for her. I will always remember some of your stories about the funny things your mother did to you around the house, etc. She was not only your mother but friend and travel companion. Unfortunately for us the body fails but it is the memories of your mother that will last forever. The pain of the loss of your mother will fade away but the memories live on with you.

  At times like this it is difficult to see all the love that surrounds you. I am here to let you know that I’m here if and when you need me.  I know that Aunt Audrey is in a better place right now than she’s ever been before.  All pain is gone and she’s now at rest.  It’s us who feel the burden of our sadness and our grief.  We have to cry and mourn our loss before we get relief.  We know we’ll reconnect with her at the end of each life’s road.  My condolences to you, David and Linda.

We are so sorry of your Mom's passing.  She was as wonderful a mother as you were a son to her.  Everytime we were in her company she was always smiling and had a very upbeat personality.  The world is less of a place without her.  If you ever need, you know where we are and even Texas is not that far away.
