Arturo Silva was called home to be with the Lord, on March 14, 2015 at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Refugia Silva, his parents Pedro and Juanita Silva, grandson Gabriel Silva, siblings; Maria Gonzales, Felicitas Leyva and Juan Silva. Arturo is survived by his beloved children; Arturo Silva Jr., Juan H. Silva, Albert Silva(April), Ramon Silva, grandchildren; Jacob Silva, Sarah Silva, Daniel Silva, Kassandra Silva (mother; Leticia), 5 sisters, 1 brother, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will begin at 5:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 9:00a.m. for a 9: 30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Joseph South San Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
