A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, godmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by parents John & Tina Pena and her only son Ben. Surviving family is brothers Jesse and wife Lola, Roger and wife Laura, sister Margie and husband Gilbert Gavia, many nephews and nieces.
She earned her Bachelor’s and Masters of Social Work degrees from Our Lady of the Lake. She retired as a Federal Civilian Service employee with the United States Air Force for about 40 years of service where she worked at several military bases including several years in Belgium and Germany.
She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church for 44 years where she was active in various groups/organization. To relax, she liked to travel throughout the U.S. and Europe and Cruises with her favorite being Las Vegas.
A rosary for Tina will be recited on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 9:30 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Dr, San Antonio, TX 78228, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM. A reception to honor the life of Tina will immediately follow in the Parish Hall.
