Antonia F. Torres

Antonia Torres, our beloved mother,and grandmother, went to be with our Lord on November 27, 2013 at the age of 89. She was born in Coughran, Texas to Miguel and Juanita Flores on September 2, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Arnulfo V. Torres Sr.; grandson, Ronnie Barrientes. She is survived by 8 children: Arnulfo V. Torres, Jr. and Phyllis Smith, Jose F. Torres, Ernest F. Torres Sr. and wife Linda, Oscar F. Torres and wife Rosie, John Randy Torres Sr. and wife Wanda, Julia T. and husband Richard Alvarez, Sylvia T. and husband Tony Garcia, Janie T. and husband Daniel Casias; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and also, Carol T. Macias who was like a daughter to her. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 to celebrate an 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Henry Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
