Maria Anita (Annie) Rivera-Morrell, age 80, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 2, 1934 in Boerne, Texas to Blas & Gregoria Rivera. Annie loved her family and gave selflessly to others. She owned and operated Jacks Corner Store for 25 years. She was always there to help the whole neighborhood. Annie is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Morrell Jr. and brothers, Blake and Andrew. Survivors include her children, Eva Williamson & husband, Barry, Blas A. Morrell & wife, Tambrey, John F. Morrell III, Katherine Kading & husband, Tony and Brenda Bellizio & husband Morris; adopted sons, Steve Morgan and Ray Phipps; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Please read the 23rd Psalms in her memory.
