Anne Marie G. Perales, went to be with our Lord on July 22, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rose Marie Molina and Pioquinto Alvarez Gallegos; daughter, Anne Marie R. Laven, DDS and siblings, J. Francisco Gallegos, Rudolph I. (Josephine) Gallegos, M. Lillian Gallegos. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Ernest S. Perales; daughter, M. Kathleen Perales, PhD, son-in-law, Pieter Laven, DDS and grandsons, Aaron and Pieter along with numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law and their families. She attended Collins Garden Elementary and Brackenridge H.S.. She was baptized at St. Alfonsus Catholic Church and was a lifelong member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Before marriage, Mrs. Perales was a buyer for Joske’s department store. After marriage she was a mother, room mother, caregiver, a friend to all that came into Mrs. Perales life. All who were a part of her breakfast club at Panchitos and Moreno’s Beauty Shop happily raised her spirits and will miss her greatly. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Henry Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2. Honored pallbearers will be from the Hopkins and Nieto families. Donations may be made to the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament at 227 Keller Street, San Antonio, Texas 78204.
