Anna B. Baker entered into rest February 10, 2016 in San Antonio at the age of 92. She was born July 25, 1923 in Bryan, Texas to the late Frank and Annie Bukowski. During her younger years, she was employed at Kelly Air Force Base as a Civil Service worker, and at Spires Douglas Buick as a secretary. She also worked for many years as the financial secretary at Laurel Heights United Methodist Church where she was a member for 60 years.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband James “Bob” Baker. Anna is survived by her daughter Ann Sammis and husband William Jr.; granddaughters Tricia Ueckert, Tracy Armentrout and husband Mike, Suzanne Seabolt and husband James; great grandchildren Ashley and Brook Armentrout, Kian and Eris Ueckert, Sadie and J.W. Seabolt, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place from 2:00pm to 3:00pm Friday, February 12, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, with Funeral Services beginning at 3:00pm followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Diabetes Association.
