Angelina was born December 9, 1939 to Encarnacion Saenz and Dominga Bautista. Angelina was a graduate of Burbank High School Class of 1957. She spent the majority of her career as a civil service employee of 22 years working at Kelly A.F.B. in San Antonio, TX in the field of computer keyboard operator. On November 20, 1960, she married Felix Lopez. They raised three sons and one daughter. Angelina also attended Palo Alto College.
Angelina was an extremely caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was the type of person to give her spare cash to countless homeless individuals and even the clothes off her back at times without hesitation. She was active in the Catholic church as a teacher of CDC youth classes, PTC member at St John Berchman’s Catholic Church, Eucharistic minister and attended Oblate School of Theology. She had a passion for making her own creative writings and essays. She loved caring for her grandchildren from their infancy to young adult years, especially making them Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes for breakfast. For fun Angelina loved to travel of which, Las Vegas and Florida were two of her favorite family vacation destinations - Slot machines and Disney World. Secretly, she loved to give her husband of 62 years, Felix, Hell every chance she got! Just to kiss and make up with him later. She is best known by her family and friends for her joyful laugh, captivating smile, caring heart, stylish/vogue dresser, amazing dancer and great home cooking! Her kitchen was never closed if you were hungry.
Angelina is survived by her husband of 62 years, Felix, four children; Felix III (wife Belinda), Joe (wife Loretta), Michael (wife Cynthia) and Christina (husband Ernie).
Eight grandchildren; Genevie Lopez, Nina Lopez, Alejandro Lopez (wife Aki), Nicolas Lopez, Victoria Lopez, Trinity Lopez, Kaitlin Ybarra and Sophia Casiano. Siblings; Joe Saenz (wife Vickie), Carlos Saenz (wife Mary Alice), Dora Barnhardt (husband Leroy) and Susie Castillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents Encarnacion and Dominga and sisters, Sylvia Gonzalez and Josephine Williams.
