Angie Berger, age 47, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Manor, Texas. She was born on December 15, 1965 in Quincy, Illinois to Butch & Lucille Dickman. Angie is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Dickman. Survivors include her husband, Stephen Berger; children, Kay Irving (husband, Chris Carter), Jeremy (wife, Amanda) Berger and Michael Berger; grandchildren, Faith and Ashley Carter; Father and mother in-law, Richard and Ruthanne Berger; Sister-in-Law, Karin (husband, Adrian) Kuropas; Brother-in-Law Bill (wife, Meredith) Berger; Niece, Gabi Berger; Nephews, Cameron Berger and Markian, Alexander, Justin, and Zenon Kuropas; Father, Butch; Sisters, Sheryl (husband, David) Session and Janeen (husband, Ronnie) Ham and Brother, Matthew. Angie was a passionate and caring woman who dedicated her life to her family and her extended family of her students, friends, co-workers, and patients. She had several careers (nurse, pre-school teacher, and elementary and high school special education) that all revolved around helping others. Visitation will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at St Rose of Lima church, 9883 Marbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78245. Graveside services will be immediately after the funeral mass around 11:30 AM at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra #501 San Antonio, TX 78253.
