Andres Lopez Gomez

Andres Gomez entered the loving arms of Our Lord on January 11, 2023, at the age of 69 years old. Andres was born in San Antonio on October 30, 1953, to Ricardo Gomez, Sr. and Patsy Lopez. Andres was a faithful man who loved the Lord and his family deeply. His charming personality, smile and sense of humor will be missed by many. In the last few years Andres battled Parkinson’s and Dementia. The battle was hard and took him far too soon, but we rest in knowing that he’s in the arms of our Father. Andres is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo Gomez, Sr. and Patsy Lopez as well as his brother, David Gomez and Sister-in-law, Elizabeth Gomez. Andres will always be remembered by his siblings, Ricardo Gomez Jr., Luis and Gloria Gomez, Janie Gomez, Daniel Gomez, Linda Gomez, Ruben and Irene Gomez and Robert and Tina Gomez-Garza as well as his children, Andrew Gomez, Amanda Wasemiller, Philip Gomez, and Joy Gomez.

A visitation for Andres will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A graveside service will occur Friday, January 27, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214.

In remembrance of Andres, we ask to please wear the color blue for the day of the visitation and the color black for the day of the burial. Fond memories and stories can be shared at both days.
