Andrea P. Alvizo went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2014 at the age of 90 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to Gergorio and Juanita Pina on April 14, 1924 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Andrea is preceded in death by husband Cosme L. Alvizo, Son Ralph Alvizo, and a granddaughter Loretta Gonzalez. She is survived by a sister Leonor Olivarez, sister in law Aurelia Robeldo, daughters; Genieve Dehoyos and husband Hector, Jaunita Escalante and husband Jose, and Patsy Alvizo, sons; Cosme P. Alvizo and wife Rosa, Bernabe Alvizo and wife Yolanda, as well as 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10:30 am for a Funeral Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church , 130 S. San Augustin Ave, at 11:00 am, burial will follow at San Fernando II.
