Alicia was married to the love of her life, Joe S. Rodriguez, for 25 years, who passed away in 1973. Knowing that she still had young kids to raise she went on to receive her Associates Degree from San Antonio College and was blessed with employment at Texas Employment Commission (TEC) where she would meet and would later marry Rodolfo Reyes in 1985.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, both of her spouses and her son, Joe Rodriguez. She is survived by her children Roger Rodriguez, Elizabeth White (Travis), Marialice Gonzales (Ricardo), Helen Bloom (Charles), and Diana Zapata (David); her stepsons Joseph Reyes (Michelle) and Daniel Reyes (Sue) along with her 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Alicia was a woman who loved the Lord and guided her children and grandchildren to be believers and to always give the honor and glory to God. She was always kind, loving and had a beautiful sense of humor. When you were in her presence, you knew there would always be love and laughter present. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her children and grandchildren. This is not goodbye Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma but until we meet again. You were so very loved by us and we can only hope that we always made you feel like the Queen you were and will always be in our hearts. God Bless You Mom. Rest In Peace.
