Sally’s father, George Evans worked for Standard Oil. This caused their family to move often. Those frequent moves enabled Sally to be able to make friends with just about anyone.
Sally and Bill met each other in Wink, TX in 1946. They fell in love rather quickly and she married Bill at the young age of 16.
Bill went to work at Standard Oil as a pipeliner and his job took them many places. As a young couple they made it a priority to be active in their church and local community.
Sally loved music, especially gospel music! She played the piano and had a beautiful alto voice. She also was a remarkable artist. Sally and Bill made a great team of crafters.
Bill and Sally were so proud of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They strived to have a special relationship with each of them.
Sally leaves a big legacy despite her very small entrance into the world. While we grieve for the loss of Sally, we rejoice that she has left her earthly body and is rejoicing at the feet of Jesus in a new perfect body. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Water for All at Southland Baptist Church, 4300 Meadowcreek Trail, San Angelo TX 76904.
