Robert Dan Carmichael, 67 of San Angelo, passed away on March 20, 2016. He was born in San Angelo on March 20, 1949 to Archie and Melba Carmichael.
Robert graduated from Central High School. He worked for SAISD for many years as a maintenance worker. He was also a member of the local Elks Lodge and VFW. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and attained the rank of Specialist. He loved football. He liked to work with his hands and tinker with things, whether it be on vehicles or doing maintenance at work.
Robert is survived by his children: Amanda Carmichael and husband Dean Head of Georgia, Christopher Carmichael and wife Taytum, and Jamie Carmichael, all of San Angelo; his mother Melba Carmichael of San Angelo; and his sister Charlotte Theis and husband Robert and sister-in-law Sandy King, all of San Angelo.
Family visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28th at Johnson’s Funeral Home. There will be a private family service at a later date.
