Richard Dale Brannon, 57, of San Angelo, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in San Angelo. He was born to the late, Tommy Daniel and Betty Lucille Butler Brannon on March 4, 1959 in San Angelo. He recently retired after over 20 years as a local painter. He has been described as outgoing and charismatic. Richard enjoyed spending time with family and friends, anything to do with race cars, and fishing. He was always doing something, never one to stand idle for long. Richard had a talent for making others laugh. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Richard is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Terry Lynn Brannon and Daniel Ray Brannon.
Survivors include his son, Walter Chad Brannon; daughter, Ashley Brannon; two grandchildren; brothers, Michael Brannon and Bobby Dee Kolk; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, including his former wife, Cynthia Gamboa.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date. A time of visitation will be held from 12:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Johnson’s Funeral Home.
