Leticia Esquivel Rangel

Leticia was born in Acuna Coahuila, Mexico on May 25, 1955. Daughter of Elisa & Humberto Rangel. She moved to the United States in her early 20s where she later met her spouse Rodolfo Ramos. They were together for 45 years. She was employed at St. John’s hospital in San Angelo, Texas for 40 plus years. Leticia also known as “Wela” to everyone was a very kind and open hearted person, The perfect mother. She brought life into every room she walked into. Don’t get started on the parties, She was a dancing queen. She loved to be around her family, loved to cook, shop at boutiques, decorate for the holidays and anything family oriented. She had a heart of gold. Leticia was loved by so many and had a huge impact on their lives.

She is survived by her spouse Rodolfo Ramos, her two sons Robert Rangel, Ricardo Ramos and daughter Vanesa Ramos. She is survived by her 4 siblings. Josefina Hernandez, Maria Lozano, Maria Estrada, Humberto Rangel and her favorite sister-in-law Mona Rangel. She also leaves behind 12 grand children, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A prayer service for Leticia will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 West Beauregard Avenue, San Angelo, Texas. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel.

Leticia will be laid to rest in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, Texas.
