Erlinda Morales Rodriguez

Erlinda M.Rodriguez was born July 25, 1936 to Jesus and Refugia Morales in Seguin Texas. She was the 3rd sibling of a family of 6. Erlinda lived in Lamesa, Texas where she met her husband of 53 years Guadalupe Rodriguez. God blessed them with a beautiful family of six. The family relocated to San Angelo where she raised them in her strong faith of the Catholic Church. She instilled in her children the devotion to serve and trust in the Lord and as well to honor our Blessed Mother Mary. Our beloved mother was always very welcoming and loving to all. Her home became your home and she immediately won your heart over.

She is survived by her husband Guadalupe R. Rodriguez, daughter Evelyn Alvarado and husband Alfredo Alvarado, daughter Teresa Rodriguez, daughter Lisa Dela Garza, daughter Margaret Schillo and husband Anthony J. Schillo , and son Jesse Rodriguez. Preceded in death by daughter Rosemary Rodriguez. She is also survived by three siblings; eldest brother Armando Morales, brother Guadalupe Morales, and sister Clara Martinez. Erlinda is also survived by four grandchildren Alfredo Alvarado Jr., Eliza Rodriguez and husband Ramiro Rodriguez, Joard Dela Garza and Angel Dela Garza. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren Ramiro Gunner Rodriguez II and Madison Rose Rodriguez. Erlinda is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Consuelo Ortiz, and brother Saul Morales. To our beloved Wife, Mother, Memo, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend you are never too far away you will forever be in our hearts and souls. Pray for us your family from your heavenly castle your new home.

Rosary will be 7:00 PM Friday February 4, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is 10:00 AM Saturday February 5, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
