"Is that a Fact?"  Bro Slysvester was the best example of a Christian man I have ever known and I knew him for 62 years. He loved his family, Melba, David, Daneta and Andrew. He talked the talk and walked the walk.  Chester and Melba were close friends with my parents Mavis and Winfred and we have many fond memories of Melba playing the piano and the four of them singing old songs like Victory In Jesus, How Great Thou Art, The Old Rugged Cross etc.  They would play and sing for hours. Chester loved people and wanted to know every person he came in fellowship with.  He took time to visit hospitals and nursing homes praying for perfect strangers as well as best friends, shut in's or just visit at the coffee shops he frequented. Then there were weddings, speaking engagements, teaching bible classes, conducting funerals etc. Every body loved Chester; Kids, Teens,and Adults. Red and Yellow, Black or White they were precious in his sight. He was quick to joke and just as quick to pray, preach, sing, fish, eat, etc. He loved to gardern. We love the Sylvester family.  Thank you for sharing this precious jewel with us for so many years. And that's a Fact.
