Cecil Wayne Cross was born February 9, 1953, in San Angelo, Texas to Garland Victor Cross, Sr. and Sally Belle Hibbitts. He passed away February 10, 2021 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of San Angelo.
Cecil was married to the love of his life, Sally Ann Turn, on December 1, 1978, in San Angelo, Texas. Cecil was employed as a maintenance supervisor at several different apartment complexes in San Angelo and later drove trucks hauling sand, gravel and mobile homes.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sally; his parents, and one sister, Annette Maus. Cecil is survived by one brother, Garland Victor Cross, Jr. and wife, Sherry; sister, Priscilla (Prissy) Morgan and one brother in law, James (Jimmy) Maus; two aunts, Sharon Fenner and husband Ed, and Gaynel Arthur; nephews, Doby Morgan and wife DeAnn, Tony Diver, Johnny Murtishaw and wife Melissa, and Victor Cross; two nieces, Tami May and husband Cody and Michelle DeBord and husband Colt as well as many cousins that he dearly loved.
A graveside service will be at 2 PM March 1, 2021, in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. His nephew, Victor Cross will officiate the service. Please dress casual and in bright colors, Cecil loved red!
