Billy is predeceased by his father Bill Pruitt, his grandparents, his sister-in-law JoAnn Allen and his niece Jennifer Pruitt.
Billy was born on August 8th 1963 to Bill Pruitt and Dorothy Elliott in San Angelo, Texas. He married his wife Shelly Pruitt on April 17th 1998.
Some of Billy’s favorite things to do was to go fishing on the banks of the Concho River, hunting during each season and raising all of his animals from worms and chickens to goats in all the in-betweens. He enjoyed making and selling fishing accessories, spending money at garage sales and flea markets on the weekends. He also would always be the one to try something new from planting new flowers or crops to making candy from scratch for his family and friends. His absolute favorite thing though was to watch all of his grandchildren and great nephews and niece all play outside together while he worked on a project for them, and teaching anyone how to fish. When he could he would always do odds and ends with his wife remodeling the house and spending time working around the yard with his brother James.
Billy has always been the man that would give his last shirt to a stranger. He made sure everyone that knew him was taken care of and had what they needed even if he went without.
He will be truly missed by everyone. Have fun fishing with your best Pal Jack (his Chihuahua). Until we meet again! #gonefishingforever
