Biatriz Hernandez Lombrana

Biatriz H. Lombrana, 97, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was born in Hemphill, Texas on November 27, 1919 to Mike Hernandez and Petra Villa. She was married to Juan G. Lombrana in June 1934.

She was preceded in death by parents Mike & Petra Hernandez, step-mom Isabel Hernandez, husband Juan G. Lombrana, uncle Manuel Portales, brother Mike Hernandez, sisters Ester Hernandez and Carolina Bustos, sons: Thomas, Manuel, Henry and wife Mary, Mike and wife Alice, and David, grandson Anthony Lombrana, son-in-law Andy Martinez, and daughter-in-law Carolina Lombrana.

She is survived by siblings: Miguel Hernandez, Andres & Elia Hernandez, Daniel & Anita Hernandez, Elias Hernandez, Moises & Melissa Hernandez, David Hernandez, Isabel Robbins, Marylena Stodola, Adelita & Dan Schlueter, three sons: Joe Lombrana of Brady, John Lombrana & Connie Robles of San Angelo, Bobby & Aida Lombrana; four daughters: Estela Martinez, Mary & Edward Nandin of Ft. Worth, Alice Martinez of San Angelo, and Margie & Marvin Seals of San Angelo; 40 grandchildren, 93 great grandchildren, 44 great-great grandchildren, and 4 great-great-great grandchildren.

Biatriz was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She touched many lives, always giving motherly advice and unconditional love. Mom (Abuelita) was the rock of the family, truly a blessing to her family & everyone she met. She filled the room with laughter, love, & many stories. We will carry her love in our hearts always.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home in San Angelo with Pastor Aron Gonzales officiating and the eulogy given by her sisters Marylena and Adelita. Special thanks to grandson, Joey Martinez, who cared for Abuelita and who held a special place in his grandmother’s heart.
