Arthur Galvan San Miguel, 70, of San Angleo, TX passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born on June 26, 1953 in San Angelo, TX to Jovita and Jesse San Miguel. Arthur attended Central High School and graduated in the class of 1972. He had a passion for cars and loved working on them. Arthur was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julio and Ricada Galvan; brother, Fernando San Miguel; uncle, Jose Galvan and aunts, Margarita Lopez, Juanita Picon and Antonia Gonzales. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jovita San Miguel; nephew, Fernando San Miguel, Jr.; niece, Krystal Martinez; nephew, Steven San Miguel; brothers, Jesse San Miguel, Alfred San Miguel; sister, Maria Alonso; aunts, Maria and David Jalomo, Severiana Aguero, Felice Galvan and Lupe Villarreal; uncles, Julio and Alicia, Juan and Adela, Mike and Betty, Isaias and Marta and numerous cousins. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment to follow in Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Rudy Lopez, Joe Galvan, Jr., Julio Galvan, Mike Galvan, Johnny Galvan and Danny Lopez.
