Anita Lara, 43, of San Angelo passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 in San Angelo. A time of visitation and a Rosary will be recited on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at Johnson's Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 am Thursday in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in San Angelo with burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
Anita was born in Brady, Texas on January 14, 1975.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Lara on June 2, 2015.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Arispe of San Angelo; two sons, John David Escobedo of Austin and Christian Lara of San Angelo; 2 daughters, Natalie Escobedo of San Angelo and Andrea Escobedo; step daughter, Aaron Arispe; her mother, Sarah Lara of San Angelo; a brother, Daniel Ray Lara and a sister, Anna Scott, both of Dallas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers for the services are Anthony Baca, Fernando Fuentes, Sam Delafuente, Henry Hogeda, Jr., Raul Delarosa, and Johnny Perez, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Zach Fernandez, Danny Munoz and Rey Hernandez.
The family wish to acknowledge with extreme gratitude for the care and concerns of Dr. Zarate, Dr. Perret and the ICU Unit nurses and staff of Shannon hospital. A special thanks to Olivia Arispe, Angie and Raul Delarosa and Henry Hogeda, Jr. for all the love and care you have shown to Anita and our family during her illness. And also thank you to Sarah Lara for always being there to help Anita with her children. We will always love her and now we will miss her and never forget her.
