Born and raised in the Salt Lake City area. She graduated from Granite High School Class of 1970. In her youth she enjoyed going to dances, hanging out with friends (with mischief of course), and dragging State Street. She met her future husband DJ as a Junior and they were married shortly after high school. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She worked, raised her son and daughter, and held down the fort most of the time while her “Lineman” husband was working. As time went on her kids moved away then shortly after, her grandkids started to appear, which she called her “Babies”. She spent as much time as possible with her grandbabies. Any event, school activity, football game or just to take her girls dress shopping for a dance, she was there. She enjoyed spending time with her husband at concerts, Wendover, and hanging out with friends (just like in high school). She was full of witty jokes that could make anyone crack a smile and was always there to listen or give advice. Paula retired from the medical field shortly after her husband’s passing in 2014.
Paula is survived by, Jeremy (son) Amber (Daughter), Jordyn (Granddaughter), Marijane (Granddaughter), Emelia (Granddaughter), Xandre (Grandson), Gracie (Granddaughter), and Ayden (Granddaughter). Preceded in death by her loving husband “DJ” (2014). They had a true love story; she is at peace now in the arms of her beloved.
