William “Bill” Shaw, 74, of Anne Arundel County passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Manokin Center in Princess Anne. Born in Baltimore City he was the son of the late Bernard Shaw and Helen Airey.
A Morrell Park native, Bill retired from UPS in 2002 and along with his wife Dianne they moved to Ocean View, DE, where he was very active in The Villages of Southamptom Homeowners Association and the Beachcombers Corvette Club of Southern Delaware. He later settled in Salisbury. Bill was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and Past Grand Knight of Madonna Council 3964.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Dianne Shaw; son, William “John” Shaw, Jr. and his wife Tracy; grandson, Grady Shaw; four brothers, Bernard Shaw and his wife Geniene, Wayne Shaw and his wife Andrea, Calvin Shaw and his wife Joy, and Charles Airey; four sisters, Margaret Ott, Lee Ann Garcia, JoAnn Sorbo and her husband Frank, and Vicki Airey; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Thomas Sawyer and sister, Vivian Burke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 1pm at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 535 Riverside Dr., Salisbury, MD 21801.
