Patricia “Patsy” Ann Cooper, 69 of Willards passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born November 5, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Charles Burt Davis and Mildred Dorothy Daisey Davis. Patsy was a hard worker and conservative when it came to finances. She worked several years for Perdue Farms and later worked for Salisbury University until her retirement in 2011. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses, playing cards, singing at Bethel church in Gumboro, and going dancing on Saturday nights at the Moose. She was a loving wife, mother, and mommom who enjoyed going to the casino and Powellville VFW and playing slots. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jackie S. Cooper; son, Michael W. Cooper; daughter, Sherry Bartemy Haymaker and her husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Zachary and Shelby Bartemy; brother, Robert “Bobby” Davis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Sue Cooper in 2007, grandsons, Michael D. Shelton in 1988 and John “Bob” Shelton in 2014; and two brothers, Charles Davis, Jr. and Roy Rogers Davis. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
