Marilyn Joyce Blackwell

A people person, Joyce was always the life of the party. She enjoyed going to the beach, crabbing, fishing, and being outdoors.

In addition to her mom, she is survived by three children, Christina Hess, Jock Simon, and China Simon; two grandchildren, Jaxson and Maxwell Simon and one on the way; sister Baby Mrani; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Alexander Simon.

A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held Monday at 2:30 at Forge Youth and Family Academy, 7804 Gumboro Rd, Pittsville, MD 21850.
