Glenn Douglas Lubbers, 72, of Selbyville, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Born June 17, 1952 he was the son of the late Lawrence Lubbers, Sr. and Helen Marie Lubbers.
Glenn worked for many years on the Chesapeake Bay as a rigger and in his retirement a flower deliveryman. He enjoyed sailing and reading but his family was the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Lubbers; daughter, Heather Zahory and her husband Ahmad; granddaughter, Nessa Ann; son Stephen Carpenter; two brothers, Larry Lubbers (Louise) and Ed Lubbers (Phyllis); brothers-in-law, Mike King, Brian King (Debbie), nephew, Joseph Edward Lubbers (A); niece, Chloe Hartland; and great-niece, Elizabeth Lubbers. He was preceded in death by sisters-in-law, Sherri Howerton (Steve) and Tina King.
