He was born to Alvin Linthicum and Louise Adele Hubbard in Baltimore Maryland in 1934. While growing up in Baltimore he performed in many professional theatrical productions as an actor, singer and dancer.
The family moved to Cambridge and he joined the United States Army where he served his country in a Medical Unit during the Korean Conflict.
He then moved to New York and continued his theatrical career and toured with productions and night clubs all over the country. Eventually he left show business and worked in the advertising business in New York as a commercial artist in New York.
In 1985 he moved from Connecticut to Cambridge, Maryland. He launched is company, Delmarva Heritage, and continued his work as a photographer and commercial artist. His passion was the Skipjack oyster boats and he spent considerable time on extensive research on their history and eventually authored a book.
He was very proud to be a Linthicum and a direct descendant of Captain Thomas Linthicum who settled the Eastern Shore in the late 1500’s. He was a Mason and of Episcopalian faith.
He is predeceased by his parents Alvin and Louise Linthicum.
He is survived by his sons, Jason Linthicum, Palm City Florida and his long time party Lily Stoian, and Drew Linthicum, Tampa, Florida.
He was loved and will be missed by many.
