On Tuesday, April 25th at the young age of 61, Michael Werner Hart of Salem, Oregon passed away. He was born to Shirley Elaine Hart and Edward Clinton Hart on February 6th, 1962 in Salem, Oregon where he lived throughout his life.
Michael enjoyed spending time in nature, whether it be in the woods or on the water. His love of the outdoors was passed down from his father and grandfather who were instrumental in who he was.
Although Mike never had children of his own, he was blessed to be able to take part in the life of Kristi Creighton from a young age. While Amber and Ryan Creighton were mostly grown when they came into his life, he took great pride in being able to join in their milestones and enjoyed sharing his life with them.
Mike never missed an opportunity to impact the lives of others. His favorite things included introducing people to his favorite hunting spots, teaching them how to fish, helping fix a project around the house, sharing his favorite Autzen traditions, and spending quality time with all those he loved. To know Mike was to have a life-long friend that you could hear coming from a mile away. His heart was as big as his personality, and if you were blessed enough to know him you knew how full of life he was and that you could never predict what would happen next, so you just had to
be ready for an adventure.
Michael is survived by his brother Ed Hart and wife JoAnn, his sister Michelle (Shelly) Winegar, Amy Thomas (niece), her husband Rik and their children Aja, Taylor and Brandon. Eric Peterson (nephew) and his wife Sherry, Ryan Hart (nephew), Melissa Lewis (niece), her husband James and their children Kynslie and Kaemen, Brielle Gordon (niece), her husband Tyler and their daughter Luna, Austin Winegar (nephew) and his wife Morgan, his wife Renee Hart, her children Amber Yant, Ryan Creighton, and Kristi Creighton, and two grandchildren.
