Mis ms sinceras condolencias para la familia Bez, ninguna persona esta completamente preparada para la perdida de un ser querido especialmente cuando es tan grandioso como mam Tita. Sin embargo la batalla contra la muerte no terminar en derrota, pues en la Biblia promete en Isaias 25:8 que Dios se "tragara la muerte" para siempre.


Estimada Familia Bez,
DE PARTE DE PIONEROS DE OREGON  y  La Familia Salinas nuestras sinceras condolencias a la Familia Bez.  Tambin considerando la edad y los acontecimientos de la Gran Seora  Mara de la Luz  Dios la mantuvo por un Siglo menos un ao; un regalo especial para La Familia Bez  y nuestra comunidad en Marion County Oregon.   
Su amistad con la comunidad Mxico-Americana y gente de otras races ser un recuerdo eterno.  La imagen de familia mas la de empresarios es una imagen que empieza con la cabeza de la familia- Doa Mara de la Luz y su esposo Don Luis.   Durante la poca temprana de su negocio Los Bez Restaurante y la comida aun deliciosa,  la AMISTAD que brindaron al PUEBLO sirvi de ejemplo para la comunidad y otros soadores de un negocio similar.  
Como historiador, aprecio Familias como los Bez porque fueron Pioneros en su MEDIO; fundaron y hasta la fecha cultivan la Cultura Mejicana por medio de los platillos que solamente La Familia Bez puede preparar.  Unas cosas en la vida se repiten; menos lo que ha logrado La Familia Bez.
Doa Mara de la Luz hoy se encuentra con Don Luis y seguirn su vida en el firmamento de la infinidad.  DIOS la llam; pero el rbol Bez tiene multitud de tallos que seguirn creando similar y diferente fruta para la Familia Bez y continuando la TRADICION-UNICA DE BEZ!

I have known Mama Tita for about 44 years, along with all of her sons.  I met the Baez family in 1973 at their first Los Baez Mexican restaurant in S. Salem.  I have been sincerely honored to be part the Baez extended family ever since.  I had the pleasure of spending 5 weeks with her, her husband and their son Angel, in their home town in Mexico during 2004.  I remember her cooking fantastic, authentic family recipes and being so wonderfully sweet and kind to me.  
It seemed to me that everyone in the entire town came to visit with her. She was deeply loved and highly respected by all who knew her.  I also recall seeing her almost every time I was in Los Baez Mexican Restaurant.  She was either working in the kitchen or sitting in her favorite booth spending time with her sons or greeting many people who knew her.  She always greeted me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
She was a true classy lady and I will miss her deeply.  May GOD Bless and keep her.
