

Linda Marie Howery of Keizer, Oregon, went home to our Lord in Heaven on April 19th, 2025, at the age of 77 following a courageous battle with ALS. She was surrounded by her son Christopher and daughter-in-law Sarah during her final moments.
Linda Howery was born on June 17th, 1947, in Medford, Oregon, to Wallace and Verna Bowen. She attended Crater High School and later graduated from Walla Walla High School in Washington State following her family's relocation.
A few years after graduating high school, her family relocated to Beaverton, Oregon, where Linda found employment with various organizations. In 1967 Linda joined a company in Portland, Oregon called Progress Electronics, where she met her future husband, Bob Howery. The couple married in July 1967 and remained together for the duration of her life. One of Linda’s more notable places of employment was her work as a primate seamstress, wherein she meticulously designed, crafted, and tailored suits for primates.
Throughout her life Linda had a variety of interests. She engaged in painting, exploring many different styles as art was one of her skill sets. Linda paid attention to even the smallest details which she eloquently captured in her drawings and paintings. She also cared very much for animals. Throughout her life, it was not uncommon to find her taking care of several dogs at any given time. Linda consistently cared for her dogs, and she always had a deep bond with each one of them. Linda was also an experienced pianist, which she enjoyed playing frequently. Linda also helped others to learn to play the piano, to play as gracefully as she could.
Linda Howery was a caring and kind soul. A cherished wife and a beloved mother with a friendly smile, Linda was loved very much. Her family looks forward to seeing her again in heaven. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her son, Christopher, her grandchildren Spencer and Trinity, her great granddaughter, Samantha, her sister Rosetta and brother Mark.
