Karen Alice Tinsman, age 75, of Keizer, Oregon passed away after a 5-year battle with breast cancer on Saturday July 14, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones. Karen was born July 5, 1943 to Thure A. Cerling and Alice M. (Stenfelt) Cerling in Elmhurst, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Tinsman; her brother, Robert Cerling of Evansville, Indiana; her four children with two children-in-law, Marilee (Tinsman) Rasmussen in Colorado, Stephanie (Tinsman) Hansen in Nevada, Kristina (Tinsman) Wigginton and Frank Wigginton in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jonathan Tinsman and Monserrat De Lira-Tinsman in La Crescenta, California; her seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Charles Cerling of Belmont, Wisconsin, Keith Cerling of Camanche, Iowa, Jean (Cerling) Allen of California, and Donald Cerling of Manistee, Michigan.
