On April 21, 2024, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away after a long battle with lung disease. Judie is survived by three daughters and their spouses: Kim and Mike Dorn, April and Brian Sankey, and Amber and Jerry Post. Grandchildren Daniel, Zachary, Nathaniel, and Amanda Sankey, Riley Adams and Cooper Dorn, and Tyler Post, and seven great-grandchildren. Sibling Ron Green. Judie was an avid quilter, stained glass artist, and genealogist. She was a determined champion for the Alzheimer’s Association to honor her husband Don Wilson, who passed in 2014.
Her wishes were to forgo a public service. Her children and grandchildren will participate in a private ceremony at the beach, and her daughters will then inter her at the Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
