Salem ~ Frances Moore passed away at Salem Hospital on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 74. Frances was born June 2, 1936 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Gerald and Pearl Steele. She married Ulan Moore, and together they raised five children. Frances worked as a Food Service Specialist for the State of Oregon until she retired in 1990. She was a member of Four Seasons Sports and Recreation Club. She also volunteered at Salem Hospital and the governor’s office. Frances enjoyed pinochle, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Ulan Moore, and sisters Carolyn Steele and Judy Pageler. She is survived by son Alan Davis of Gypsum, CO; daughter Cyndy Musni of Anaheim, CA; daughter Ginger Davis of Salem, OR; son Troy Davis of Kalispell, MT; daughter Ulana Cole of Salem, OR; sisters Fern Richards, Jackie Peck, Jeanne Satterlee and Faye Stutz; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 19, 11:00 a.m. at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Home, 1350 Commercial St. SE, Salem.
