Eunice L. Cook, age 97, of Salem, Oregon passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina on July 6, 1926 to William and Margaret (Ellis) Williams. Eunice married John William Cook on June 11, 1960. Together they raised their son, Kevin. John preceded Eunice in death in 2005.
Eunice really enjoyed her work as a technician at Pacific NW Bell for several decades before retiring after 10 years with the State of Oregon.
She lived at Emerald Pointe Independent Living for the past 15 years. She enjoyed volunteering, playing Bingo and Beanbag Baseball, along with numerous other activities. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed by so many friends.
A funeral service for Eunice will be held Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 1:30 PM, at Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors: 1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem, Oregon 97302. She will be laid to rest in Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem, Oregon.
